Title: Breathe Description: I remembered what my pastor has told me, is that the bible is a love letter from God. God is actually telling me how much he loves me in every turn of a page, in every stories, in every teachings and in every scriptures written in it. Though it took me years until I realized how true it was :) hehe. Now that I know, I have to go to the process of obeying it in which I'm still learning to in each passing day.-------------------So why read "The Love Letter"? "Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God" -Dt 8:3Life is not just based on satisfying ourselves. We think that if we can earn enough money, eat right, and live in a high style, we think we are living the good life. Such things do not satisfy our deepest longings. In the end they will just leave us empty and dissatisfied. Real life comes from knowing Jesus and having a commitment to God, the one who created life itself. God does not ignore our physical needs. While God's Word does indeed say, "Man does not live on bread alone," it also recognizes the fact that man must have food to live. Our physical bodies require them, and God recognizes this need.But there is another food that we need to feed on...We must live by "every word that comes from the mouth of God." God's Word contains the food that the soul requires. God's word is a necessity to our spiritual well being. We must feed from the Word of God (Rhema, God's spoken words and Logo aka Jesus, The Bread of Life), or we will be weakened then die spiritually.We have to have Jesus daily in our lives like an air we breathe. He is crucial for our spiritual survival like how an oxygen is crucial for our physical bodies. Without the air we will suffocate. Without Jesus we will be lost.So breathe in the Word of God deeply and breathe out in prayer constantly. After all, a heart filled with Jesus will automatically burst out in thanksgiving :)"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." -Psalm 119:105Jesus is our light. He is there to guide us ahead so we won't stumble as we walk. ---------------Trust not in your own understanding but put all your trust and hope to the Lord.Pray to God that He will give you the time to read your bible from work, school and even at home. Not just do it once a week in church but do it everyday in your living. Also pray that He will make you understand what He is really trying to say to you (with clarity and application)."...But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." -2 Peter 3:18To know more about Jesus is a never ending process but He's so worth our time. There's always a new revelation, sincere rebuke and refreshing message whenever He speak to you. The deeper you get to know the beauty of God... the deeper you will fall in love with Him.JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW my friend, so keep on knowing Him and don't you ever be discouraged/distracted by any circumstance the enemy will try to use to blind you from the Truth.
